BJP will win in coming Lok Sabha elections

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that the present government was working with the aim of all-round development of the state and welfare of the people. He said that during short tenure of one year the state government has made historic achievements which would go a long way in  progress of the state.

He was speaking at the thanksgiving function organized by Shimla BJP Mandal and workers on the victory of BJP supported candidate Meera Sharma in by -elections to Sangti Ward under MC Shimla, at Oak over today. He congratulated the workers for this victory and said that they had worked with full dedication and honesty. He said that winning this very first election of new year 2019 was a  auspicious sign for the future also. He said that when a task was done with full commitment and passion, one can easily achieve the goal. He congratulated Meera Sharma for registering victory in this crucial seat.

The Chief Minister said that the victory in the election was also indicative of the faith in the people in the policies and programs of the state government. He said that in almost four and half years  Prime Minister Narendra Modi has brought the country to a respectable position throughout the world. Many schemes were being implemented, which had benefitted millions of people in the country. He said that the clean and clear image of the Prime Minister makes him the leader of common man. He said that BJP will win all four seats in coming Lok Sabha elections. For this, he urged the workers to take the governmental policies and programs to the masses at every nook and corner in the State.

Addressing on the occasion, Education Minister Suresh Bhardwaj said that it was  historic victory of BJP in Sangti ward, because BJP supported candidate had won this ward for the first time. Giving credit to the Chief Minister’s vision and his functioning, he said that the people of the state respect the way of working of  Chief Minister and his access to the general public. He said that people in different parts of the state live in this ward and thus the message of this victory would go across the state.

MLA Balbir Verma, Deputy Mayor Rakesh Sharma, Councillors, Political Advisor of the Chief Minister Trilok Jamwal  OSD Mahendra Kumar Dharmani, Chairperson  Gudia Saksham Board Rupa Sharma, APMC Chairman Naresh Sharma, BJP Mandal President Amar Thakur, Bihari Lal, BJP spokesperson Shashi Dutt, Principal private secretary to Chief Minister Vinay Singh, office bearers of BJP Mandal and workers and representatives of various panchayats were also present.
