Congress veteran Ghulam Nabi Azad has resigned from all party posts. Ghulam Nabi Azad has resigned at a time when the party is going to start the Bharat Jodo Yatra across the country.
The Congress has called an important meeting at the headquarters of the All India Congress Committee today at 4 pm regarding the Bharat Jodo Yatra. All the party leaders have been asked by the AICC to attend it.
Congress has called all India Congress Committee general secretaries, in-charge, state Congress committee presidents and state coordinators to discuss the preparations for the Bharat Jodo Yatra.
In this meeting, preparations for India Jodo Yatra will be discussed with him. An official statement from AICC said that this yatra will start from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu from 7 September 2022. The preparations for the India-Jono Yatra, about 3 thousand 570 km long, will be discussed in this meeting.
