BBNDA spent an amount of Rs 45 Crore for developing basic infrastructure

He was addressing a public meeting at Baddi today.  He also announced opening of Primary schools at Panga in Gram Panchayat Nandpur and in Jamun- ka- Dohra. He announced up-gradation of Primary School Chamkadi, in gram panchayat Goyala,  and also announced up-gradation of Government Middle Schools (GMS’s) at Jharmajri in gram panchayat Bhotikalan, GMS Jagjeet Nagar, GMS Rampur and GMS Badhonighat in Gram Panchayat Pattanalli. The Chief Minister also announced upgradation of Government High School Mandhala and Lodimajra. Shri Virbhadra Singh said that in order to give boost to industrialization in the State, Baddi would be connected with rail link and 50 percent of the cost would be borne by the State Government. He said that Himachal was fast heading towards becoming an Industrial hub of the Country due to its peaceful environment and industrial friendly policies of the Government. Besides, uninterrupted power supply, lower power tariff and adequate infrastructure were helping the State Government in attracting the entrepreneurs. The Chief Minister said that at present there were 40,500 industries set up in the State with an investment of Rs 18,375 crore and providing employment to 285390  persons. He said that BBNDA has spent an amount of Rs 45 Crore for developing basic infrastructure in last fiscal  for developing paths and roads in Baddi, Barotiwala Nalagarh area. He said for him Himachal Pradesh was one as well as the country. He warned the people not to get swayed away by the false propaganda of the opposition. He said that in water sector the BJP had spent Rs 62 crores in its five years of regime whereas our Government had spent Rs 132 crores during the last two years of its regime. Earlier, The Chief Minister performed foundation stone laying ceremony and dedicated development projects worth Rs. 60 crore in Doon assembly segment today. He inaugurated Lift Drinking Water Supply Scheme at Shadiyana completed at a cost of Rs.88.36 lakh which will benefit two Gram Panchayats of the area with a population of more than 14000. He also performed foundation stone laying ceremony of bridge over Khuthad   Khud at Loon Kiar to cost Rs.6.06 crore and  a bridge on Baniya Devi-Bughar road to be completed with an outlay of Rs.5.16 crore. Besides, he also performed foundation stone laying ceremony of Drinking Water Supply Scheme at Dehla to cost Rs 2.31 crore and also that of seven tube wells in village Seran Thana to cost rupees 5.25 crore, foundation stone of Container parking and ware house at Malpur in Baddi to be completed at a cost of Rs 40.31 crore. When constructed, it would facilitate parking for containers in an area of 2.83 lakhs square feet. He also performed foundation stone laying ceremony of drinking water supply scheme Haripur Sandholi- Khabadiya Baas. Irrigation and Public Health Minister, Vidya Stokes also spoke on the occasion and assured that more drinking and irrigation schemes would be opened as per the demands of the people of the area. She said that wherever possible more hand pumps would be installed in water scarcity areas. Sh Ram Kumar Chaudhary, MLA Doon Constituency segment welcomed the Chief Minister and other dignitaries on the occasion. He also listed the developments of the areas during the past two years of the Congress regime and thanked the Chief Minister for dedicating projects worth crores for his assembly segment. Ram Kumar also placed forth few demands of the area before the Chief Minister. He also urged for completion of few drinking water supply scheme of the area and thanked him for sanctioning Sewerage Scheme for Baddi worth around Rs. 34 Crores Earlier, Madan Chaudhry, President Nagar Parishad Baddi welcomed and honoured the Chief Minister besides, Ex-MLA, Lajja Ram Chaudhry also honoured the Chief Minister and other distinguished guests present on the occasion. Irrigation and Public Health Minister, Vidya Stokes, Industries Minister, Mukesh Agnihotri, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister, Col.Dr.Dhani Ram Shandil, Chairman, Khadi Board, Ramesh Chauhan,  Chairman, Other Workers Construction Welfare Board, Bawa Hardeep Singh , Chairman APMC, Ramesh Thakur, District Congress President, Rahul Thakur, President Nagar Parishad , Baddi, Madan Chaudhry,  Ex-MLA, Lajja Ram Chaudhry, Ex-DCC President Solan, Arun Sen, Member, Labana welfare board, Vijay Singh,Deputy Commissioner, Solan, Madan Chauhan,  Advisor Industries, Rajinder Chauhan, SP Baddi G.Sivakumar, CEO Baddi Barotiwala Nalagarh Development Authority, Lalit Jain were also present on the occasion amongst others.
