Barcelos India and NDCHRC celebrate children’s day with Cheer

Barcelos India, leading South African casual dining restaurant chain with the support of New Delhi Children’s Hospital & Research Centre (NDCHRC) today celebrated children day by donating burgers to around 200 underprivileged children. Priyanka Raina, wife of an ace cricketer, Suresh Raina graced the occasion as the chief guest and represented her foundation- Gracia Raina Foundation. GRF and NDCHRC have collaborated and will be doing a series of health camps in the near future
After kick-starting the event at Kali Temple, Vasant Kunj, Priyanka Raina along with the Barcelos leadership, interacted with the children present there. NDHCHRC organized a free health camp and other fun activities. The children spent a joyous day followed by lunch and enjoyed Barcelo’s burgers which were sure a delight for them to indulge in.
On the occasion, Mr Rohit Malhotra–Business Head India Operations Barcelos India said, “This small initiative reinstates our intent of giving back to the community in which we work and live, making a positive difference in the lives of the underprivileged children. This initiation brings together the entire Barcelos family of India.
He further added, ” We are also glad to partner with New Delhi Children’s Hospital & Research Centre (NDCHRC), We believe they are the right partners for us, as they have been actively working in this area. On the occasion of Children’s day, Our joint mission is towards addressing the cause of hunger and malnutrition in India and bring a smile on the face of this children; and we look forward to working closely with them.”
Both Burgers and children’s have a long lasting and intrinsic relationship with Barcelos. This Children’s Day, Barcelos wanted to do something unique and everlasting for the young patrons which indulge kids with their relished treat.
