New Delhi : Along with public sector banks, Mahila Samman Saving Certificate Scheme has been started from private banks as well.
Its notification has been issued on Wednesday. Till now the certificates of this scheme were being given only by the post office. 7 in this scheme. 5% interest is given to the certificate holder.
The central government had announced this scheme in the budget of the year 2023-24. Has started from 1 April 2023. 10 in this scheme from April to May. About Rs 6000 crore has been deposited in 30 lakh accounts.
Senior citizens are also saving in a big way. Rs 23,000 crore has been deposited by senior citizens in the months of April and May.
