Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal, has said that the birthday of former Prime Minister, Mr Atal Behari Vajpayee, and the birth anniversary of great leader Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya, on December 25 will be celebrated as “Sushasan Diwas” all over Haryana.
Speaking to media persons after meeting the Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi, in New Delhi today, he said that the state government would mark the day with the launch of at least five initiatives taken to ensure good governance by providing a graft-free, people-friendly and responsive administration to the people.
Asked about the outcome of his meeting with the Prime Minister, he said that it was his first meeting after being sworn in as Chief Minister on October 26, 2014. “We discussed many things and I apprised him about the steps being taken by the government to ensure good governance in the state”, he added.Referring to the December 25 celebrations, Mr Manohar Lal said that the state government would launch a unique system for redress of grievances of the citizens with the launch of “CM’s window” in every district. It will be backed by a web portal based grievance receipt,
effective redressal mechanism and feedback system throughout the state.
”We also plan to launch a citizen-friendly, transparent and efficient online process for registration of sale deeds and other documents pertaining to land through e-Disha centres in eight districts. The facility will be subsequently rolled out in all districts of the state”, the Chief Minister said.
The state government also plans to ensure that all uncontested mutations of registration deeds are carried out before December 25, 2014, and will see to it that similarly mutations are carried out on two specified days every month, he added. As a part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, a cleanliness drive will be carried out throughout the state in all urban and rural areas with direct involvement of elected representatives and public spirited persons.
Besides, a new facility will be launched to facilitate online filing of Entrepreneur Memoranda (EM) by the Medium and Small Enterprises (MSMEs) in the state, the Chief Minister added.
