Aspirations bring change
ITC, with a strong footprint in the agri- sector, has released a small video ‘Khwahishon Ki Azadi’ that captures the contribution of India’s farmers in providing food to over a billion countrymen. The video is ITC’s tribute and salutation to India’s farmers and celebrates the true spirit of freedom.
ITC, over the decades, has nurtured its strong enduring relationship with farmers across the country, helping them realise their dreams and aspirations. The Company’s unique farmer-centric agri-collaborations have gone on to revolutionise the agricultural sector in rural India.
Be it the pioneering e-Choupal eco-system that has empowered over 4 million farmers so far, contributing towards enhancing agricultural growth and productivity, and fostering sustainable rural development, or the ITC Baareh Mahine Hariyali initiative, an integrated program that addresses the critical need to multiply farmer incomes, as well as the newly launched e-Choupal 4.0 that leverages new digital technologies to provide end-to-end and personalised services to farmers, ITC has strived to support and fructify every farmer’s hard work at various stages of crop development, procurement, supply chain development, processing and finding market linkages by amassing an aggregation of agricultural services.
ITC’s world-class Indian brands such as Aashirvaad atta and spices, Sunfeast biscuits, Bingo! chips, B Natural juices, Aashirvaad Svasti milk, Classmate notebooks, Mangaldeep agarbatties, amongst others, anchor inclusive farm value chains, empowering Indian farmers and raising agrarian incomes, whilst ensuring high grade quality and safety to consumers.
Today, as the country recovers from the coronavirus induced pandemic to reset and reimagine a brighter future, ITC would like to take the opportunity to celebrate the undying spirit of our country’s farmers by presenting 'Khwahishon ki Azadi'.
