Ashadh Durgashtami date

According to the Panchang, the Ashtami date of the month of Ashadh is starting from 4.15 am on Monday, 26 June and will end the next day i.e. Tuesday at 4 am. If Udaya Tithi is to be believed then the fast and worship of Ashad month Durgashtami will be done on 26th June. Worshiping Goddess on this day gives best results.

Complete method of worship

On the day of Masik Durgashtami, wake up early in the morning and take bath etc. After that, after cleaning the place of worship, sprinkle Gangajal. Now anoint Maa Durga with Gangajal and also light a lamp in the temple of the house. Offer intact, vermilion and red flowers to the mother, then offer prasad, fruits and sweets. At the end of the worship, do the aarti of the mother and ask for forgiveness from the mother goddess for your mistakes and say your prayers.
