CM Delhi Arvind Kejriwal has withdrawn the petition filed in the Supreme Court regarding the arrest of ED. It has been told that the court had earlier agreed to hear this matter. For this, Chief Justice DY Chandrachud had handed over the matter to the bench headed by Justice Sanjeev Khanna for hearing the matter. However, now it is coming to light that Delhi CM will approach the lower court in this matter.

It is reported that regarding the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister by ED in the liquor scam case, Abhishek Manu Singhvi had gone to the CJI’s house and demanded him to hear the matter.r.

It is noteworthy that during the arrest of Kejriwal on Thursday night, his legal team had reached the Supreme Court and appealed to demand an immediate hearing on the arrest of Delhi CM.
