Jalandhar Development Authority (JDA) has invited applications for allotment of 40 residential plots at Hoshiarpur. Allotment price of the plots offered in the scheme has been fixed at Rs. 14,000/- per sq. yd. The scheme will begin on June 25, 2019 and would close on July 22, 2019.
Announcing this here today, an official spokesperson said that it is an endeavour of the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh led Punjab Government to provide houses to the needy at affordable prices. The present scheme is a step towards fulfilling this objective.
Sharing details of the scheme, Chief Administrator, Jalandhar Development Authority Mr. Jitendra Jorwal said that the applicants would pay 10% price of the plot at the time of application submission, they would be required to pay next installment of 15% within 30 days of issuance of Letter of Intent (LoI). For paying the balance 75% amount, the allottees would have the option to make payment in 6 half yearly equated installments alongwith interest @ 12% compounded annually or paying it in lump-sum within 60 days from the date of issuance of allotment letter to avail rebate of 5%. Draw of lots for allotment of plots has been scheduled for August 7, 2019, Mr. Jitendra Jorwal revealed.
Allottees would be given the possession of the plots on 25% payment. Various banks have been associated to facilitate the sale & receipt of the application forms of the scheme, Mr. Jorwal disclosed.
