Anti National Elements to be Dealt Stringently-CM

Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister joined Shri Hamid Ansari, Vice President of India, Sh. Prakash Singh Badal, his Punjab counterpart, Sh. Vijay Chopra, Founder Chairman of Shaheed Parivar Fund of Punjab Kesari, Senior Ministers of Punjab, MP’s, MLA’s and other dignitaries in flagging off 281st Relief Truck from the Hind Samachar campus at Jalandhar, on 101st Shaheed Parivar Fund relief distribution function, today.

Addressing the gathering at the function of Shaheed Parivar Fund, Chief Minister said that terrorism had emerged a global problem affecting humanity at large. He gave a clarion call to all and sundry, to come forward and support the forces fighting against such anti-social elements. He said that the armed forces needed to provided more power and autonomy to deal with such anti national elements more stringently. He said that nation had already paid heavy price in fighting against terrorism which need not go waste. He said that need of the hour was to collectively fight the terrorism to achieve peace universally.

Prof. Dhumal said that terrorism in any form was condemnable which played with the lives of innocent people. He said that people who were fighting against anti-national elements needed to be supported and extended full backing. He said that armed forces had been contributing significantly in maintenance of peace, especially on International boarders. He said that national integration was above all and requires to be preserved.

Chief Minister complemented Punjab Kesari Group Shaheed Parivar Fund for hosting the Relief Distribution Function and helping people who had lost their near and dears due to terrorism in different parts of the country. He described the occasion as a pious service towards the affected families, adding that Punjab Kesari Hind Samachar Group had maintained its traditions since ages to provide succour to the terrorism affected families.

Sh. Manmohan Kalia, Punjab Minister, Sh. Navjot Singh Sidhu, M.P., Sh. Manpreet Singh Badal, Punjab Minister of Finance, Sh. Mohinder Singh M.P. of Congress, Sh. Mangat Ram Pasla of CPM, Sh. Baldev Prakash Chawla, former Minister and other dignitaries from various political parties and anti-terrorism fronts also addressed the gathering.
