Indian Army said Agneepath scheme will not be withdraw

The Indian Army’ has made it clear that the Agneepath scheme will not be withdrawn. Despite this, some organizations have announced a Bharat Bandh on Monday. Its effect has been seen in Bihar, Jharkhand and Bengal. An appeal for Bharat Bandh has been made through social media. In view of this, tight security arrangements have been made in other states including Bihar, Jharkhand, Punjab.

Internet is down in 20 districts of Bihar. Section 144 has been imposed in Muzaffarpur and internet has been shut to stop rumours. FIR has been registered against 6 coaching centers here. So far, a total of 804 people have been arrested from all over Bihar. Even today more than 300 trains will remain cancelled. There is also an alert in Punjab. According to the Ministry of Railways:-

181 Mail Express and 348 passenger trains have been canceled due to agitation over Agneepath scheme. Apart from these, 4 Mail Express and 6 Passenger trains are partially cancelled. No divert is train.
