After 12 years, Japan and D.Korea have moved forward on the way to improve their relations. It is believed that the fear of China and North Korea is haunting both the countries, due to which they are promising firm friendship to increase their strength. Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeo met at the summit. Both promised to rekindle their strained relationship.

The President of Korea was on a two-day visit, during which talks were to be held on some important agenda like economic cooperation between the two countries. It is believed that under US pressure, D.Korea wants to correct its 12 years of deteriorating relations with Japan. Yoon has also declared his support for fully normalizing the military intelligence-sharing agreement with Japan in the face of North Korea’s repeated ballistic missile launches.

It has been said in the report that just a few hours before the visit, North Korea fired its fourth ballistic missile. In a joint statement, Kishida said Japan and South Korea have decided to resume bilateral security talks in response to North Korea’s nuclear and missile threats. Yoon said, I believe that both countries should be able to respond to North Korea’s nuclear missile test.
