The difficulties of the makers of ‘Adipurush’ are not taking the name of lessening. Ever since the release of the teaser, the filmmakers have been facing criticism, then trolling and now a petition seeking a ban on the film.
A petition seeking a stay on the release of the film ‘Adipurush’ has been filed in a Delhi court. The petition alleges that Lord Rama and Hanuman are depicted in a wrong way in the film.
A complaint was filed in Uttar Pradesh against Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon starrer ‘Adipurush’ before the petition was filed in Delhi. A lawyer in Lucknow had approached the court seeking action against the actors and producers of the film.
According to the information received, a Lucknow-based lawyer Pramod Pandey had filed a complaint with the Chief Judicial Magistrate on Thursday, making Saif Ali Khan, Prabhas Raghav, Kriti Sanon, producer-director Om Raut and Bhushan Kumar as parties.
He said that criminal cases should be registered under section 153(3) of CrPC against the stars and filmmakers for wrongly portraying the characters of Hindu gods, especially Hanuman and Ram. PLC/GT
