Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Aishwarya Vasudevan, Group COO, Neuberg Diagnostics Private Limited said, “Adhering to a healthy diet is very important in the fight against COVID-19. Ms. Pallavi Sawant is a practicing sports nutritionist from Mumbai who has been in the profession for the past eight years. As a nutritionist, she believes in the science of eating. She considers diet to be more about discipline and dedication than about eating right.
During her address, Pallavi spoke about proper nutrition and hydration being vital. According to her, people who eat a well-balanced diet tend to be healthier with stronger immune systems and lower risk of chronic illnesses and infectious diseases. She also mentioned that it is still possible to purchase and consume a healthy diet during these difficult times.
