‘What The Duck’ is back with its third season with fun-filled insights from our favourite cricketers on their lives and of course, cricket. In the first episode, widely loved South African cricketers- AB de Villiers and Jonty Rhodes, share some of their deepest connections with our beloved nation, India.
Remembering his most memorable time in India, AB De Villiers said, “Back in 2012, I was ready to get married to the love of my life and I had put forward the proposal to her parents as well. Then I decided to surprise her during the IPL time during that year by expressing my feelings to Danielle, my wife, at the beautiful TAJ Mahal.”
Furthermore he elaborated, “As soon as I got some free time from the IPL match, I took the opportunity to take her to Taj Mahal along with Jim Rydell and Kalveel Biradar from Royal Challengers Bangalore team. My fellow mates beautifully captured my proposal to her at the Taj Mahal, where she happily said yes!”
