Jain called to Karnataka to advise party in ongoing political crisis

Satya Pal Jain, Ex-Member of Parliament & All India Incharge of Legal & Legislative Cell of the Bhartaiya Janata Party, left for Bengaluru today on the directions of the BJP High Command. Sh. Jain has been called to Bengaluru by the BJP High Command for discussions and consultations with regard to the threat posed to the Karnataka Government after the recommendations sent by the Karnataka Governor.

Sh. Jain, Senior Advocate of Punjab & Haryana High Court, is one of the reputed legal experts in constitutional matters and election law, especially matters pertaining to Anti-Defection Law.

Due to the recommendation sent by Sh. H. R. Bhardwaj, Karnataka Governor for imposition of President’s Rule in the state, a political crisis has arisen there. The Y. S. Yeddyurappa led BJP government in Karnataka is in majority in the state assembly but with the recommendation of the Governor for imposition of President’s Rule, an atmosphere of instability and political conflict is sought to be created in the state.

Mr. Jain has been associated with the matters concerning Karnataka since long. Twice earlier also, when efforts were made to destabilize the Karnataka Government, Mr. Jain had brought the government out of crisis.

Due to Mr. Jain’s sudden visit to Bengaluru, all his programs and appointments for the next two days have been cancelled.
