The first edition of ID India Expo 2011, India’s leading event for identification technologies and its applications, was inaugurated today by Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, Hon’ble Minister of State for Commerce & Industry. The three day Expo which started today at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi is being organised by Exposium India. Addressing the industry and media, the Minister congratulated the organizers for the initiative and stressed upon the importance of Smart Cards in India’s growth and security.
Being held from 23-25 February 2011 the international event is presented by The Smart Card Forum of India (SCAFI) and co-sponsored by Smart Card Alliance, USA, TEEMA, Taiwan to bring together the entire digital security, smartcards, RFiD, Biometrics, e-payment and contactless community.
ID India Expo 2011 is presenting Digital Security, Smart Cards, Biometrics, RFID-NFC and e-Payments technologies and their applications. These three energetic and intense days will provide a special opportunity to combine socializing and networking, with informative conferences, workshops and symposiums as well as a few
amusing retrospective’s. Asia Pacific is the world’s most dynamic region now in the Identity Business and ID India Expo is the must-attend international event which is bringing together all the global players in digital security, smart cards, RFID- NFC, Biometrics, payment and contactless technologies, says Mr. Sanjeev Shriya, President – SCAFI and Managing Director – Smart Chip Limited.
