City police is failed to nab the burglars and they are so brave that now they are commiiited robberies in broad day light. Today four robbers snatched rupees 25 lakh from the employee of collection company from the dividing road of sector-11-14 at around 3:30pm. The robbers fired shot with the help of pistol and injured him. The injured is admitted in the ICU in a private hospital by passerby. As usual the police reached on the spot and after that the police put naka’s at various points of city to trace the robbers vehicle. DCP Parul Kush Jai also visited on the spot. According to information, the robbers who weer four in number came in white colour Toyota etios car and they were wearing monkey caps. 32 year old Ratnish Tripathi who works in Info systems private limited Chandigarh as a collection agent. Today he was going to Chandigarh after collecting the cash from various points in panchkula on his bike. When he came near 11-14 dividing road white colour car stopped his way. Suddenly three youths stepped out from the car and they told him to hand over the bag full of cash. But when Ratnish refused to hand over the bag the one youth fire shot with his pistol in his ankle and they snatched the bag and fled away from the spot. The fourth youth was sitting at the driver seat of the car. Passerby picked injured rantish and he admitted him in the private hospital in sector-14. Where he is admitted in the ICU. After getting the information of loot DCP Parul Kush Jain , ACP Varinder Sangwan along with police force and started investigation. The scene of crime team also reached on the spot and collected samples. DCP told media persons on the spot that the passerby who took the injured to hospital gave them the number of the car. But when they traced the number it was turned fake. After registering the case of loot the police started searching the robbers and they the police sealed the entire city and started searching every vehicle. This is not the first incident of loot in the city. Before this many times the ronbbers striked in the city during night or even in broad daylight but all the incidents are still unsolved. White zen car gang is active in district from many years and the police is in doubt that the white zen car is behind todays loot. It is pertinent to say that, On 2nd November, two alert women foiled the robbery bid as two bike borne youth tried to loot their jewellery on gun point, On 1st November, two bikers looted gold and cash from two ladies in sector-4 on gun point and fled from the spot, On 31stOctober, three robbers looted 13 lakh from the employees of security agency on gun point, on 30th September, Two robbers strikes at ATM of axis bank and fled away with 8.5 lakh by cutting atm with gas cutter, On 25th august, five robbers looted27 lakh from property dealer in barwalla, On 10th august four armed youth looted Rs. 48 thousand from the vegetable vendors in sector-6 near command hospital, On 25th july, miscreants snatched verna car from couple in sector-26 on gun point, On 24th june, Youth kidnapped sector-21 businessman and robbed his car along with laptop on gun point and the youths left the businessman in banur on amballa patialla highway, On 16th may, Car borne youths fired shot in stomach of accountant and snatched Rs. 4.4 lakh in sector-12 and accountant was saved by the doctors of PGI, On 8th May, Three bike borne youths made unsuccessful attempt to loot jeweler in sector-10, they fired four shots by country made pistol, On 15th March, 40 lakh cash & jewellery looted by three miscreants on gun point from a woman in sector-7, but police solved the robbery in few days, On 24th Feburary, Rs. 6 lakh was robbed on gun point from two employees of transport company by two miscreants, On 20th January, Five youths looted liquor shop in broad daylight on pinjore-baddi highway, On 10th December 2011, Thieves strike in 13 places in city. The thefts broke in sectors- 9,10,11 and 15 and car thefts in sectors-8 and 15, On 6th December, A new born baby was kidnapped from general hospital, police solved the case after six days, On 27th November, Murder in MDC of Dr. Purmilla Tiwari and her driver Gurvinder Singh. GRP solved the murder mystery and arrested three accused.
