Addressing on the occasion, the Vice President said that 20th August, 2013 will be remembered in the history as a Black Day when Dr. Narendra Dabholkar was murdered because he was trying to awaken people against various superstitions. Dr. Dabholkar advocated for ‘Maharashtra Anti-Superstition Law’ and just after his death, that law was passed. The Anti-Superstition Law should be made a National Law, he added.
