TV actress and model Meenakshi Arya who plays the character of Lovely in film “2 Nights in soul valley” debuts on the big screen with this film. Hailing from Rajasthan’s Ganga Nagar, actress Meenakshi was the first choice for the role because of the sweet and bold attitude of hers. Before this film she had acted on small screen in the serials like Ramayana,Sabki Ladli Bebo,Jyoti etc. and has done few TV commercials. This beautiful girl has also bagged a role in a new serial 2612. We spoke to Meenakshi about her forthcoming film, following are a few excerpts.  How did 2 Nights in Soul Valley happen to you? I went for an audition and I was given a scene to act. When I was done I saw the jury smiling and they told me that they’ll inform me later. I thought maybe I was not selected, but later in the evening I got a call informing that I was selected. The feeling was out of this world, I had given up on hope and suddenly I got a call.  Tell us something about the movie?  This movie is directed by Harish Sharma and is made under the banner of Pinta & Dehal productions. 2 Nights in Soul Valley is a horror movie and this movie is mostly shot in the hills of Pitthoragarh. This is a story of 5 friends who go to Pitthoragarh for trekking and face supernatural forces, so there onwards the story moves on. Tell us something about your character in the movie?  My character’s name is Lovely, who is in love with Vicky (played by Gaurav Shah). Lovely is a sweet, bubbly, energetic girl and in real life also I can link myself to Lovely.  What is different in 2 Nights in Soul Valley which makes the movie stand out from the rest of the horror movies? We are all used to see terrible faces or killings in a horror movie, but this is a type of film which will scare you without any of these. 2 Nights in Soul Valley has a very strong message in it, you’ll love the story for sure, and it will scare you too. Please share with us the most terrifying experience while making of the film? Oh! There are so many. But one I specifically remember. There was this one scene where Sumeet Sharma (as Harry) the protagonist of the film goes missing. Everyone is looking for him and to our horror we find him in a valley completely lost. This was the scariest shot as this was taken at night and it was a jungle we could hear noises and movement in bushes and Sumeet had to go down the valley for this shot. Everyone in the crew was worried for Sumeet, but at the end the scene came out well. When you watch the movie I guarantee even you’ll be scared watching this scene. How was the experience of working with all new stars and Hemant Pandey? It was a life changing experience when you get learn from everyone. Hemant Pandey, Suumeet, Gaurav, Suumit, Akkshi, myself and Milli Moonstone gelled very nicely. We spoke and helped each other out in each scene. Hemant Pandey and Harish Sharma were our mentors as they knew exactly what the scene demanded. Anything you want to say to the audiences?A message which my film gives I would like to forward that to the audience which is- Respect everyone, do not take anyone for granted because life is vicious circle the way you treat others may determine your future.
