नई दिल्ली. अप्रैल-जुलाई, 2009 के दौरान भारतीय रेल ने 284.77 मिलियन टन माल की ढुलाई की। पिछले माह इसी अवधि में 270.73 मिलियन टन माल ढोया गया था और इस बार इसमें 14.04 मिलियन टन की बढ़ोतरी हुई है। इस प्रकार 5.19 प्रतिशत बढ़ोतरी दर्ज की गई।
जुलाई 2009 के दौरान भारतीय रेल ने 71.68 मिलियन टन माल की ढुलाई की। पिछले वर्ष की इसी अवधि में 67.73 मिलियन टन माल ढोया गया था और इस बार उसमें 3.95 मिलियन टन की बढ़ोतरी हुई है। इस प्रकार 5.83 प्रतिशत बढ़ोतरी दर्ज की गई।
