ब्रासीलिया। ब्राजील में बाढ़ के क़हर से क़रीब दो लाख बेघर हो गए हैं. बाढ़ के पानी में डूबकर 20 लोगों की मौत हो गई है। बाढ़ प्रभावित इलाकों के लोग सुरक्षित स्थानों की तरफ़ पलायन कर रहे हैं.
एक सरकारी अधिकारी ने बताया कि राहत का काम शुरू कर दिया गया है. लोगों को खाद्य सामग्री और पीने का साफ़ पानी मुहैया कराया जा रहा है.
वहीं, ब्राज़ील के राष्ट्रपति लुईज इनासियो लुला डी सिल्वा ने पूर्वोत्तर ब्राजील के बाढ़ प्रभावित इलाकों का हवाई सर्वेक्षण कर राहत कार्यों में तेज़ी लाने के निर्देश दिए. उन्होंने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि बाढ़ प्रभावित इलाकों के लोगों के लिए सुरक्षित स्थानों पर अस्थायी माकन बनाए जाएं।
गौरतलब है की ब्राज़ील के उत्तर और पूर्वोत्तर इलाकों में पिछले दो हफ्ते से बारिश हो रही है, जिससे यहां बाढ़ के हालत पैदा हो गए हैं.
