Anuj Kulshreshtha & Poonam Gaur of Opera Media & Recreations Pvt Ltd hosted the Grand Finale of “Opera Miss/ Mrs India Global 2018”- International Beauty Pagent at Golden Tulip Suites. The Lamp lightening of the show was done by Chief Guest- SP Singh Baghel, UP cabinet minister for Fisheries, Minor Irrigation, Animal Husbandry.
The judges for grand finale were Bollywood star Neha Dhupia, Bollywood Lyricist Sandeep Nath, media personality from Australia, Swechha Kulshrestha & Miss India Australia International 2018 Ankita Shetty, Entrepreneur Barkha Nangia. Although all the participants showed unparalleled talent, making the decision that much harder for the judges, Juhi Sharma won the title of Opera Miss India Global 2018 and Pupul Bhuiyan won the title of Opera Mrs India Global 2018.
Auditions were held in various cities for the selection of participants, out of 400 contestants best 41 were picked, after which these participants were trained and groomed by the best trainers in the country for the Grand Finale. Opera is associated with famous Fashion Director and Groomer Chandrakala -Director of CHASA IDT Pune and Choreographed by Sham Khan, a well-known choreographer. The finalists flaunted costumes of various prominent Fashion Designers of the city, Neha Garg. Lakme Academy took care of the Makeup and hairstyling of the contestants. Opera also got an opportunity to support one of the most prestigious foundation in India CHHANV NGO an Acid attack survivors society run by Laxmi. All the finalists created a buzz all around and raised an unbelievable amount of funds through the tasks given to them as their part of training to support Chhanv.
The Mentor Anuj Kulshreshtha who is a very famous media personality from Sydney Australia & Poonam Gaur, the Show Director of Opera Media & Recreations Pvt Ltd said, “We are super excited to bring the first ever International Beauty Contest from Australia to India. The Opera Miss/Mrs. India Global is a competition that recognises gifted women from across India. Unlike pageants that focus mainly on beauty, this contest emphasises on the talents, accomplishments, personalities, and the societal contributions of its participants- Opera is looking for Beauty with Purpose .”
