राश्ट्रपति पर �

भारत में संसदीय प्रजातन्त्र है। इसमें राश्ट्राध्यक्ष और शासनाध्यक्ष की अलग व्यवस्था होती है। राश्ट्राध्यक्ष अर्थात् राश्ट्रपति को नाममात्र का प्रधान माना जाता है। शासनाध्यक्ष अर्थात प्रधानमंत्री वास्तविक प्रधान माना जाता है। राश्ट्रपति से मंत्रिमण्डल की सलाह पर काम करने की अपेक्षा की गयी ।
