Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister, visited Nageshwar Temple Shrine at Kuddu Mahadev near Lad Bharol village in Jogindernagar sub-division of district Mandi to pay his obeisance on the Shivratri Festival.
Chief Minister said that he had been blessed by visiting the ancient shrine which happened to be the abode of Lord Shiva. He said that Himachal Pradesh was popularly known as the Land of Gods and Goddesses and people had immense faith in devotional powers. He said that one could get all his wishes get fulfilled by visiting these shrines. He said that such destinations had been the choicest places for the devotees to visit and thereby give boost to the religious tourism in the State. He said that the State Government was also making all out effort to develop all such places by creating infrastructure of basic amenities to facilitate visits of the devotees and meet their requirements.
Mahant Prem Giri, Head of the Shrine, welcomed the Chief Minister and briefed him of various devotional services being rendered to the visiting devotees.
Shri Gulab Singh Thakur, PWD Minister, Shri Trilok Kapoor, Chairman, Woolfed, Shri Ram Swaroop Sharma, Vice Chairman, HP State Civil Supplies Corporation, Shri Kashmir Singh Rajput, Vice Chairman, HP state Cooperative Bank, Shri Bhagwan Dass, Vice Chairman, Kangra Central Cooperative Bank, other prominent people of the area and senior officers of the Government were present on the occasion.
