Necessary directions should be issued to the concerned company for the same : Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal

Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister directed the Deputy Commissioners to implement the developmental schemes effectively so that common man can be benefitted out of them. He also stressed upon generating awareness among the people about the welfare schemes being implemented. He was addressing a review meeting held with Deputy Commissioners Hamirpur, Kangra, Bilaspur and the district officers at Bilaspur today. He directed the officers to ensure implementation of Essential Services Guarantee Act in letter and spirit and to provide essential services to the people within stipulated time period.

Prof. Dhumal said that 18927 references were sent to CM office from Hamirpur, Kangra and Bilaspur districts during last four years out of which 17606 matters were disposed off to provide relief to the applicants. He said that e-samadhan had proved effective in grievance redressal and added that efforts were being made to bring administration, records online and correspondence would also be conducted through e-samadhan.

Chief Minister said that the construction of Bagh-Chhal bridge was being delayed as necessary formalities could not be completed in time. He directed the PWD Department to start the construction of the bridge on priority and complete it within stipulated time period. He said that necessary directions should be issued to the concerned company for the same.

He directed the officers to dispose off the matters related to essential services on priority. He also directed the officers to explore possibilities for installing handpumps at Racheda, Kathalag, Chakrana villages so that the residents of these villages could be benefitted. He also asked the Deputy Commissioners to take serious note of the references of CM office and dispose them off immediately and send the compliance report to CM office.

Chief Minister directed them to review the progress of ongoing scheme regularly and dispose of the revenue matters on priority. He said that the Government was committed to protect the interests of the common man and added that officers posted in rural areas should serve the people sincerely.

Shri R.S. Gupta, Shri Rajender Singh and Shri Ritesh Chauhan, Deputy Commissioners Kangra, Hamirpur and Bilaspur informed about the references received from CM office.

Shri Rikhi Ram Kaundal Deputy Speaker H.P. Vidhan Sabha, Shri Santosh Patiyal SP Bilaspur and all the officers of the district were present in the meeting.
