The Three day Golden Jubilee Celebration of the Commission for Scientific and Technical Terminology was inaugurated here today. On this occasion the Chief Guest Dr. D. Purandeswari, Minister of state for Human Resource Development stressed on the importance of using hindi language in scientific and technical terminology. She said that thoughts and feelings can best be expressed through languages. She further added that the Commission will remain committed in rendering valuable services in the future also.

On this occasion she launched a website on technical terms in Hindi language. She also released four books on scientific terminology including a book on administrative terminology.

Officials from the Ministry of Human Resource Development Smt. Vibha Puri Das, Secretary (HE), Dr. Anita Bhatnagar Jain, Joint Secretary (Languages and Administration) and Prof. Vijay Kumar, Director, Central Hindi Institute, Agra were also present on the occasion.
