Dmitry Medvedev chaired a meeting of the Commission for Modernisation and Technological Development of Russia’s Economy in Magnitogorsk.
Before the meeting began, the President visited the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steelworks, saw the blast furnaces in operation, looked over the Block-5000 thick rolled steel production mill, reviewed main control station, and spoke with young workers.
Mr Medvedev also had a working meeting with Chelyabinsk Region Governor Mikhail Yurevich.
