A three day festival of films from Bangladesh is being organised by the Directorate of Film Festivals in collaboration with Bangladesh High Commission from 16th to 18th April.10 at Sirifort Auditorioum II. The Festival will be inaugurated by Choudhury Mohan Jatua, Hon’ble Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting who will be the Chief guest on the occasion.
This is for the first time that a festival of Bangladesh films is being jointly organized by the two countries. It is expected that the festival will facilitate more cultural exchange programmes between the countries. In all seven films namely Ontorjatra, Joyjatra, Bachelor, Rupkathar Golpo, Matir Moina, Aha and Ayna will be screened during three day festival.
Renowned actor and director, Ms. Sarah Kabori,MP, distinguished film producer and Managing Director of Impress Telefilm Limited, Mr. Faridur Reza Sagar, noted actor and director Mr. Tauquir Ahmed, talented actors from the new generation,Ms. Aupee and Mr. Shahidul Alam, all from Bangladesh will participate in the festival.
