- Star One today announced the launch of a fresh lineup of content viz. 2 new fiction shows, Geet – Hui Sabse Parayi and Rang Badalti Odhani beginning April 5th at 9.30 p.m. and 10 p.m. respectively from Monday to Friday. With a spanking new array of content being added to the channel, the shows will now comprise a high voltage entertaining mix of reality, fiction, drama and a lot more! Rest assured, everyone is going to be thoroughly entertained with the new programmes coming their way!
The new line-up of shows is a result of the in-depth research conducted by the channel which threw up glaring gaps. The research revealed startling new information on changing viewership trends as also a new set of audiences with a certain entertainment need. Hence, with the aim of expanding its viewership and filling in these gaps, Star One is proud to present a range of new, refreshing and differentiated content in its prime time band. Premiering on April 5th, Geet – Hui Sabse Parayi and Rang Badalti Odhani are non-traditional and inspiring stories of young women, who have the ability to script their own destinies by defying conventions.
Commenting on the launch of the new shows, Nikhil Mirchandani, GM, Star One, said, “Star One as a brand has been an innovator and has managed to establish itself firmly in the GEC space with its own set of loyal audiences. With the aim of expanding our viewership, we are presenting a new line-up of content which is clutter breaking & refreshing. The new shows have emotionally uplifting storylines that challenge convention and existing stereotypes. Both the launches showcase strong characters and issues not seen on other channels. With this great combination of programs catering to the young women, we look forward to making inroads in the programming content arena today.”
